December 2010

A good friend of mine had a great saying this year “20-10 start again”. This was the attitude for many people I know, who survived a turbulent 2009. In my case, I broke away from a business partnership and officially started Sheen Media.

It’s been an incredible year of reinvention and professional rejuvenation. I have worked hard to get myself to the end of the year and it’s so satisfying to know I have reached my goals.

Along the way I noticed I was taking self portraits at times when I was really tired or during key moments in the transition from my old business. I find anyone’s self portraits fascinating, so I thought I would share mine from this year.

Happy new year!

Wow, what an amazing year for Sheen Media! So much has been achieved in such a short amount of time, not only in the business but also at home. I am really looking forward to my first Christmas as a dad and spending some time with my new son.

The end of the year is rapidly approaching and I just want to let you know when Sheen Media will be closed over the holidays. We will be taking a break from the 20th of December 2010 until the 10th of January 2011.

THANKS to everyone who made 2010 a special year for Sheen Media. I look forward to seeing you all in the new year, after some much needed sleep.

Stay safe!

This month I went to the U2 concert in Brisbane. AWESOME show! I try to also get some snaps from every concert I go to. Here a few good ones from the night.

I’ve been having fun with this new Hipstamatic app which I downloaded for my iphone. Most of these camera apps aren’t that good in low light, so I took my son for an evening walk along the river and this is what we saw. I was pretty impressed with this for such dark conditions, even if all I got was tree silhouettes.
