I have been working on a book for Blue Care called Today, All Day, Everyday. I started the project at the beginning of the year and we recently launched the book at a function held at the Blue Care Head office with staff and corporate partners.

The project involved me travelling around QLD to various facilities and photographing the everyday working lives of the very dedicated staff and volunteers of Blue Care. Once all the images had been captured, we then began the second stage and designed a book to show them all off.

It was a great project to be involved with, thanks to Blue Care, Toyota and Origin LPG for the opportunity.

We have just finished working on a new website for Edge Modern Dining. It has been a year since they first opened the doors, so it was time to get a nice new website live which they can show off.

Checkout the website: www.edgemoderndining.com.au

Oh and by the way, Edge Modern Dining is great for catering, so if you have any functions coming up, you know who to call.

I recently did a photo shoot with Nic Plowman and Sue-Ching Lascelles to help promote their upcoming show “Two Needles One Yarn” at Jugglers.

Sue-Ching is made of nerds and cats and random tatts, Asteroid belts and all things felt. Nic is made of sticks and stones and broken bones, Fourex ale and a safety rail.”

Opening reception Friday 2 July from 6pm.

I finally got to see the Ron Mueck show at GOMA last week. It’s very cool and a little bit unnerving to have massive lifelike and naked sculptures eyeballing you. But worth a look if you can make it along. My tip is to get there early in the day because heaps of people turn up to have a look and it can get a little bit annoying walking around the exhibition.

Ah… “home sweet home”. It’s taken me a few months now, but I finally have a new studio in Fortitude Valley. I have moved into a nice little space above Jugglers Art Gallery. The address is: 103 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley.

Drop in and visit me sometime.
